What This Calculates
Given the batch volume, solvent properties, and available heat duty, this estimates how long a batch will take to recover and the heat load required to hit a target recovery time.
Engineering Notes & Assumptions
This is a lumped, steady-heat-duty estimate. It doesn't model the changing boil-up rate as composition shifts during a real multi-component recovery, or heat losses from the vessel. Treat it as a sizing starting point, not a substitute for a rigorous batch distillation simulation on a critical separation.
